Methodology & disclosure

How we choose tools, check facts, collect ratings and deals, and make money.

What we list

AI-powered tools that UK consumer brands (ecommerce, DTC, FMCG/CPG, retail and marketplace sellers) use to get a specific job done, plus general AI productivity tools brand teams rely on. Each tool is filed under the one job it is best known for. Listings are alphabetical within a job.

How facts are checked

Ratings

We record public scores and review counts from Capterra (UK), Trustpilot and the Shopify App Store, each with a link and the date checked. G2 blocks automated access, so no G2 scores are shown. Capterra could only be checked for a handful of tools; we add more as we verify them. Trustpilot profiles mostly reflect a vendor's customers and sometimes the wider company, and Shopify scores apply to the specific app named.

The combined score is an average of each source's score (converted to a 5-point scale) weighted by its number of reviews, using only sources with at least 5 reviews. We always show every source separately so you can judge for yourself. We never edit or invent scores.

Deals

We only list offers published on the vendor's own website or provided in writing by the vendor and verifiable by us, with the source link and the date we checked. Offers can change without notice. Vendors can submit a deal for free; deals never affect inclusion, order or ratings.

Use cases and skills

Use cases are editorial guides. Costs are calculated only from the published prices on our tool listings. Brand examples are quoted from public sources and linked. Prompts in the skill library are starting points: always check AI output, and don't paste personal data into consumer AI accounts.

How we make money (affiliate disclosure)

Some outbound links are, or may become, affiliate links: if you buy, the vendor may pay AI Native Consumer Brands a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are marked on the tool page and use rel="sponsored". Affiliate status never affects which tools we list, their order or their ratings, and tools without affiliate programmes are listed on the same terms.

Who runs AI Native Consumer Brands

AI Native Consumer Brands is made by Laura Rosenberger, founder of Superposition, a consultancy that helps consumer brands adopt AI. Superposition may be hired by brands to choose or roll out tools listed here. That relationship never affects inclusion, order or ratings, and we do not accept payment from vendors for listings. Where Superposition has a commercial relationship with a vendor, we will say so on that tool's page.
